To access the services provided to farmers, they will need to register themselves. The farmers' registry will integrate the land records database, grouping farmers by their name and their father's name. Once registration is complete, all relevant farmer details will be available online. They will receive a golden card with a unique ID containing all the necessary information. This card will enable farmers to access benefits like crop loans, crop insurance, disaster relief, and consultations. Only registered farmers will receive the 19th installment of the Samman Nidhi in December.
On Monday, Puri's King Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb met with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to discuss the upcoming Rath Yatra. Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan was also present at the meeting. Speaking to the media afterward, Gajapati Maharaja mentioned, "We had a detailed discussion during the meeting. This year, the Rath Yatra will follow the rituals observed in 1971, coinciding with the 'Naba Jaubana Darshan' and 'Netrotsav' of the deities, all falling on July 7."
