Create a sticky animated header (or navbar) in this css tutorial. We'll cover the HTML, CSS as well as add some javascript to automatically calculate the header height. CSS Transitions and Transforms will be used to animate the header into view. We'll take a look at the new css sticky header method with position:sticky, and look at a more conventional approach using javascript (as browsers haven't yet fully supported position:sticky yet)
