This short 25-minute video will help you to release and relax your hips, increase hip mobility, and decrease low back and hip pain. Tight hips can cause pain throughout the body. Mobility and flexibility are different. Hip mobility is important because as we age we want to make sure our hips are able to move in all planes. We want to be mobile so that we can do hard movements, i.e., be able to squat down and pick something off the ground without pain. We will also work on flexibility where we will loosen the muscles and joints so that you are limber and pain-free. This class is for any level, including beginners. You can do this at any time of day. We will work on hip openers, working on opening your adductors and abductors. We will open your hip flexors and extenders. Take deep breaths and try to relax with each exercise. Let's stretch, move, and connect deeper with ourselves. As always, please do what feels best for your body!
