Title:The Ancient Secret to Self-Improvement - Manly P. Hall

Manly Palmer Hall (March 18, 1901 – August 29, 1990) was a scholar and philosopher born in Canada. His encyclopedic masterpiece, The Secret Teachings of All Ages (1928), is renowned for its exploration of symbolical philosophy. Moreover, Mr. Hall wrote countless books and essays, and delivered innumerable lectures worldwide, with Los Angeles as his focal point. He established the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in 1934 and served as its president until his passing in 1990. The idea of self-improvement has been sought after for centuries, and many have tried to unlock the key to achieving it. From the teachings of ancient philosophers to modern self-help books, people have searched for ways to better themselves and reach their full potential. In his famous 1928 book, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages," Hall outlined this ancient secret that holds the key to self-improvement: “Be still and know that I am God.” This simple line holds a profound meaning that can transform our lives if we are willing to understand and apply it. But what does it mean to be still? In our fast-paced and busy lives, it may seem impossible to find a moment of stillness. However, being still in this context goes beyond physical stillness; it means quieting our mind, emotions, and physical body in order to connect with our inner self.
