'Jinny's Kitchen' Season 2 has premiered on tvN, much to the delight of fans, with a star-studded cast featuring actors Lee Seo-jin, Choi Woo-shik, Jung Yoo-mi, Park Seo-jun, and Go Min-si. The show, produced by the renowned Na Yeong-seok PD, is set in Iceland and follows the cast as they run a Korean restaurant. Building on the success of its previous season, 'Jinny's Kitchen' Season 2 takes the team to Iceland, where they will embark on a new adventure of running a Korean restaurant. Lee Seo-jin reprises his role as the charismatic and humorous restaurant owner, leading the team with his signature wit and expertise. He jokingly remarks, "This season, I couldn't help but think about sales. After all, money is the best!" The biggest change this season is the addition of new intern 'Go Min-si'. With her impressive resume as an actress and a wedding planner, Go Min-si is expected to bring a fresh perspective and valuable skills to the team. Na Yeong-seok PD explains, "I cast her because I thought she would adapt well." True to expectations, Go Min-si shines from the very first day, showcasing her excellent social skills and dedication, earning her praise from her fellow cast members. Lee Seo-jin exclaims, "I've never seen an intern like that before!" Choi Woo-shik has been promoted from intern to manager and steps into the role of head chef for the first time. He takes on the first day of business, following Lee Seo-jin's advice: "The others have always seen us chefs in action, but this is the first time they'll see Woo-shik as the chef. So, let's start with Woo-shik." However, chaos ensues on the first day as an unexpected surge of customers leads to a shortage of ingredients. Lee Seo-jin expresses his panic, but the team manages to overcome the crisis through their teamwork. Park Seo-jun takes on a new role this season, assuming the position of director. He reveals, "I contemplated my second act in life in Iceland. I thought I could live by another profession." Jung Yoo-mi anchors the team as the executive director, bringing her experience and leadership to the table. She jokingly says, "There's nowhere else to go up." Meanwhile, BTS's V, an intern from the previous season, sends a video letter of encouragement to his junior intern, Go Minsi, despite being in the military. He offers advice, saying, "Don't be slow, be quick," and expresses his anticipation for her success. Go Minsi responds, "I hope you finish your military service well." 'Jinny's Kitchen' Season 2 kicks off with a successful premiere, recording a viewership rating of 6.9%. Na Yeong-seok PD expresses his confidence in the show, stating, "I don't think about competing with Kim Tae-ho PD. We support each other." Anticipation builds for how the Korean restaurant will fare in Iceland and what kind of changes new intern Go Minsi will bring to the team.
