ঢাকা-কোলকাতা মৈত্রী এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেনের যাত্রীরা প্রতিটি চেয়ার আসনের জন্য নিজেদের অজান্তেই বাড়তি দিচ্ছেন ৬৮ টাকা। খোদ টিকিটের মূলভাড়ার হিসেব না দিয়ে, বাড়তি টাকাকেই দেখানো হচ্ছে আসল ভাড়া হিসেবে। এতে না বুঝেই প্রতারিত হচ্ছেন যাত্রীরা।
অতিরিক্ত টাকা কোন খাতে নেয়া হচ্ছে, তা যেমন টিকিটে উল্লেখ নেই, তেমনি তা কোথায় জমা হচ্ছে সে বিষয়ে জানাতে পারেন নি রেল কর্মকর্তারা। তবে খতিয়ে দেখার আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন রেলমন্ত্রী।
The passengers of Dhaka-Kolkata Maitree Express train are paying an extra Rs 68 each for their chair seats. With no realization of the ticket price, the excess money is shown as the real rental. The passengers are being cheated without understanding.
No extra money is being taken in the ticket, as it does not mention in the ticket, so the railway officials could not tell where it was deposited. Railway Minister assured that he will be examined.
