In Surfside Beach, the devastating toll of coastal erosion is ever present. After an entire street of houses was lost during Hurricane Ike, today additional houses are abandoned in legal limbo as the once-protective dunes are disappearing. In this video I examine the past, present, and future of these at-risk coastal environs.
