We finally got my Finnish sister to visit us in India for the first time in February and planned a vacation in Goa for her two-week-long visit to make her stay in India as relaxing and fun as possible. We started our Finnish-Indian family holiday in the middle of Goa's quiet and less crowded inland nature in Olaulim village. We loved our relaxing stay in Olaulim, where my sister had an easy time adjusting to being in India, but after a few days it was time to change the scenery and we went where most tourists go when they travel to Goa: to the super popular beaches in North Goa. North Goa has a reputation of being too noisy and crowded with tourists and party people, but we found the best beach in North Goa for families wanting an easy and relaxing holiday at the beach.
