On the occasion of Ram Navami on Sunday, 10 April, numerous states in India reported violence, stone pelting, and burning. Unrest and violence have been reported at Madhya Pradesh's Khargone and Barwani, Gujarat's Jharkhand, West Bengal's Goa, Mumbai, and even Delhi's Jawahar Lal Nehru University, where numerous students have been injured. Every year on Lord Ram's birthday, Ram Navami is commemorated.
