B.J. Novak began gaining comedic notoriety when he became Ashton Kutcher’s lead accomplice on his hit MTV prank show, Punk’d. But it was not until he was cast as the temp. Ryan Howard on the hit sitcom The Office that Novak started turning heads. Novak also became a producer and writer on the show, writing 15 episodes throughout the show's 9 seasons.
After The Office ended, Novak’s most notable roles were in Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds and the period drama Saving Mr. Banks.
But lately, it seems as though Novak has disappeared from showbiz. Has Hollywood had enough of this talented actor and writer or is he just taking a break? Here's why Hollywood won't cast B.J. Novak.
