Kabir Sahib came to this world in every era ("Yug"). But he didn't start his sect in first three era ("Satyug", "Treta" and "Dwapar") because he promised Niranjan - the lord of this world, that he won't run his sect in these eras. He came to this world even in these yug and took people who believed him along with him to the Supreme Lord's abode. In the current era i.e. "Kaliyug" when he came to the world, he instructed "Dharamdasji" to run his sect when he returned to the Supreme Lord's abode. This "Yug" is that of Sahib and his believers will go to the Supreme Lord's abode. But "Niranjan" has told his deputies to run 12 sects similar to Kabir Sahib's sect and takes Kabir Sahib's name to get legitimacy and confuse people. Today every sect uses Kabir Sahib's words but no one follows his teachings.
