Extreme Trains January 2018 at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum starring The Southern Pacific Oil Cans by Brent and Brian Milota. Here are some of the stats on auto rack train. It has 16,700 prototype horsepower, is 4000 scale feet long, and weighs 1484 prototype tons. The locomotives are Athearn Genesis and Intermountain. The cars are from Walthers. "The Oil Cans" was a tanker train that carried oil from Shell Oil Company’s Belridge field over the Tehachapi Mountains and across the LA Basin to its refinery at Carson near Long Beach.
