Hello Adventurer!
In this UE5 Tutorial, We'll learn How to Create A Superior Texture in Unreal Engine using Vegetation masks and We will crush Auto Material once and for all.
We are going to use Arboreal Node from Gaea which simulates our vegetation based on Flows, Dead zones, Height, Slope etc.
You may be wondering what's that to do with Texture..
It has a lot to do with our textures, We'll extract masks from the vegetation placement and mix it with our other data textures to create a clean(not exactly) texture that gives us enough variation to place our Forest, Meadows and Flower Fields.
We'll touch up on Vegetation later continuing from here and create an ecosystem that doesn't need to depend on landscape layers.
