The vast majority of Facebook users have never taken the time to set up their own Memorialization Preferences or established a Legacy Contact. When a Facebook profile is memorialized, the word "remembering" is added before the person's name. This will allow that person's loved ones to still see that person's shared posts, photos, videos, etc, without receiving yearly birthday reminders.
