A significant finding while working in different clusters was to notice the influence of local culture and traditions on the designs and patterns on the weave. So, the need was felt to document the folk culture and traditions. Thus, began our journey: "Heritage Trails"!
In this movie, we have tried to bring into limelight the Mridanga tradition of Odisha. Mridanga forms the soul of Odisha Sankirtan. Guru Shri Indramani Dora belongs to Ganjam district of Odisha and has undergone rigorous training under the Vaisnava tradition. Guru Indramani Dora continues to teach even today in Ganjam, Odisha.
