Elena promises to help Damon get into the tomb but Damon tells her he doesn't believe. Elena takes off her vervain necklace and tells him to ask her now whether she is telling the truth. She then asks him why he didn't compel her on their roadtrip to Georgia. He claims they were having fun and puts her necklace back on without asking her whether she is telling the truth. He claims he trusts her.
