Having reached the point where Series 1-3 can't possibly be repeated for tapes in England, every new release from here until 2002 consisted entirely of episodes from Series 4 - still retaining the 8-episode format, in spite of Series 4 consisting of 100 episodes. What I can suppose is a matter of Carlton still following the math when choosing episode quantities, especially under the pretence of each episode maintaining a mini theme, depending on the plot.
