Kalki Avatar - How Will Kaliyuga End? During this dark age of Kali yuga, Kalki avatar, the tenth and last avatar of Vishnu is prophesied to appear on earth to end the Kaliyuga and bring us back to the age of light and purity. There is a description of Lord Kalki in the second chapter of the 12th wing of the of Shrimad Bhagvatam. In which it is said that Lord Kalki will be born as a son in the house of an ascetic Brahmin named Vishnuyasha at a place called Shambhala on the thirteenth day during the fortnight of the waxing moon.
